When I'm working with with the Tascam 2488 neo on vocals. I like to have multiple effect inputs running.

 I like to use the compressor and de-esser. The way I get both of these effect to happen is by using one on the input section and the other on the track I'm recording on. The procedure for this is simple.

1. Press and hold down the MIC X 4 button.

2. Then select one of the inputs A -H while holding the MIC X 4 button.

3. Press the MIC X 4 button again.

4. Select and customize your compression effect.

5. Name and save your patch to your user file.

6. Press and hold down the MIC X 4 button.

7. Then select one of the tracks 1 - 24 while holding the MIC X 4 button.

8. Select De-esser and customize your effect.

9. Name and save your patch to your user file.

10. Start Recording.

What's up family I have been gigging and missing my Friday blogs. Well this has been a pretty good year for us family. We've taken control of our on music careers last year.  I have learned that there is a free copyright site called myfreecopyright.com. This site should help you with protecting your original music uploads on You Tube. Check it out it's free. I found this free copyright site to be a blessing as I was spending $35.00 per book of songs. I also found a free site called bandcamp.com this is a free distribution center that you can upload your mixtapes/Lps. For the bandcamp site you will need to setup a Pay Pal account so you can get paid. Also, don't for get that You Tube, My Space and Twitter are free sites to start getting noticed. What's up everybody? I have been working like a crazy man on this new project I have to say that I am worn out sleepless nights are catching up to me. The project release date has been push back to October 4, 2011 I released Three Single from the Project change the title of the project and shot two videos. I didn't think that it was going to be so hard. Pray for me 55'ers.

Releasing Digital Music

At first I thought hey this Digital Release would be easy no sweat. Well no such luck It is just as hard as
releasing CD's. Distrubtion and Market is easy because everything is Web based but getting everyone to notice you is crazy complicated. It's like where do you start and what is the right Social Network to focus on. Man I think this first LP will be changed to a Mixtape.

This is my first Blog. I am new to this so LETS GET IN TO IT!  Today I purchase Music Creator 5 by Cakewalk the Software was $39.99. It is working fine I was able to read the instructions and start recording pretty quick. I have completed Five Songs. I have Eight more to have a finished project. My wife Dee Dee from the Kerry and Dee Dee Show YouTube@k55world sang backup on two Songs for me. Today was a Good Day. Tomorrow I have to work on getting the Music copyrights for my new songs. I need to get photo software and go to the Doctor. I have to much to do. See you guys tomorrow Have a good Night.
